You can import routes into Laminar Copilot using a CSV upload. The file you upload must be the CSV export of routes from Amazon Relay, found in the Trips tab. After uploading, you can choose one of two scheduling methods depending on whether you want Copilot to auto-assign or keep assignments manual.
Importing Routes via CSV upload
From the Copilot dashboard, go to Command Center in the side navigation.
Click Import Routes.
Upload the CSV file that you've exported from Relay.
Select your scheduling method by clicking Run Dynamic Scheduler or Import Routes.
Scheduling Methods
1. Dynamic Scheduler
Copilot’s scheduling algorithm automatically assigns routes to drivers and assets.
Assignments are optimized based on:
Driver preferences
Driver availability
Asset availability
After Dynamic Scheduler runs, you can review and make adjustments to assignments if needed.
2. Import Routes (Manual Assignments)
Imports routes into your schedule without assigning drivers or assets.
Useful if you want full control over assignments.
All routes must be manually assigned to drivers and assets after import.
Choosing the Right Method
Dynamic Scheduler: Best if you want Copilot to automatically generate optimized assignments.
Import Routes (Manual): Best if you prefer to assign drivers and assets yourself.
