What’s New
New Route Type – Incremental (INC):
Flex Routes from Amazon (identified with “Flex” in the Operator ID) are now imported as INC routes instead of standard SO1 or SO2 routes.
INC routes share the same visual style as RLB routes and appear in the Breakdown Table with an INC label. INC routes can be used for other new route types that are introduced by Amazon.
These routes behave like RLB routes — start and end times can be entered manually.
Dynamic Scheduler Updates:
Dynamic Scheduler now distinguishes between regular and Flex routes during import.
Dynamic Scheduler automatically calculates the end times for these Flex routes using the same logic as SO1/SO2 routes.
Standard SO1/SO2 routes are scheduled first, followed by Flex routes, which are now treated as INC routes.
This ensures all routes can be fully assigned and eligible for driver notifications.
Additional Enhancements
INC routes now:
Send driver text notifications (shift overview, 24-hour reminder, and 2-hour reminder) when fully assigned.
Display properly in the Breakdown Table, Edit Drawer, and Audit Panel.
Count toward driver and asset utilization in filters.
Why This Matters
Flex Routes no longer interfere with regular contract routes, and drivers assigned to them now receive all standard communications. This keeps your route scheduling clean, accurate, and aligned with Amazon’s Flex capacity model.
