25.11.20: Shift Day Terminology Update, Time Off Navigation Improvement, and Custom Weekly Shift Limits

This release includes a terminology update for clarity, a usability improvement when managing time off, and new flexibility in how Dynamic Scheduler applies weekly shift limits.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

Terminology Update: “Work Days” → “Shift Start Days”

To better reflect how driver schedules are defined:

  • On the Drivers page, “Work Days” has been renamed to “Shift Start Days.”

  • This is a naming change only—no underlying behavior or logic has changed.

User impact: Clearer scheduling terminology that better aligns with how shifts are planned and managed.

Improved Time Off Editing from Breakdown Pages

We’ve improved the workflow for editing time off directly from breakdown views.

Previous behavior

  • Clicking a Time Off Block opened the edit drawer but redirected you to the Team Management page.

New behavior

  • Clicking a Time Off Block opens the edit drawer and keeps you on the current breakdown page.

User impact: Faster, less disruptive time-off management while reviewing driver or asset breakdowns.

Custom Weekly Shift Time Limits for Dynamic Scheduler

You can now customize the weekly shift time limits that Dynamic Scheduler uses during route imports.

  • Override the default overtime limits that Copilot applies when assigning routes

  • Gives operations teams more control over how weekly hours are calculated during scheduling

User impact: Greater flexibility to align route assignments with your operation’s specific labor rules or policies.
