This release brings key improvements to scheduling and visibility of driver availability in Laminar Copilot.
Smarter Scheduling Logic
Copilot now takes future weeks into account when evaluating whether a driver is eligible for a route.
- What's improved: Previously, Copilot only checked for conflicts within the current week. This could result in a route being scheduled, only to be later invalidated with an "invalidation by overlap" error once future conflicts were detected. Now that Copilot looks at future weeks when determine driver eligibility, "invalidation by overlap" errors will no longer occur.
- Why it matters: Schedules are now validated more accurately upfront, reducing the chance of post-scheduling errors and rework.
Driver Time Off Now Visible in Driver Breakdown
Driver time off requests are now integrated into the Driver Breakdown table views.
- Where you'll see it: Time off blocks appears alongside each driver in the Breakdown view.
- Important note: When using Block mode, only the start date of the time off will show. To see the full duration, switch to Dynamic view.
